This winter, the woodworking industry is focused on Sydney, with the return of international trade shows such as AWISA. In addition to this, specialized showcase’s are being offered by Gabbett machinery. See latest release models

First of these is the latest SCM group nesting machine – the Pratix S, which will have its Australasian release on 11 July. The first shipments of these machines were presold well before their arrival and additional stocks are now on their way.

So, why has the Pratix S proven so popular, even before its unveiling? – it’s the ideal nesting machine. Simple to use and program yet versatile enough to machine bench tops, stairs, solid timber, plastics, sign writing, even hang doors. The new Pratix S is affordable and great value for money. Another new release at the Gabbett Showcase in July is the SCM hot melt K130 edgebander range. Featuring new panel feed technology (SCM patent), unique engineering and a focus on simplicity, the new K130 is a great workhorse of a machine, however takes up very little floorspace.

Another fantastic display will be a 5 axis machining center – the Morbidelli’s Universal30FX. Designed for the Joinery market, this machine has some fantastic capabilities and gives a unique opportunity for visitors to see what can be achieved with 5 axis machining.

Cashback offers at the Gabbett showcase

As a sign of support for the Australasian manufacturing industry, both Gabbett and SCM group are offering additional Cashback offers on many of the current range. After purchasing your machine, the manufacturer will refund a selected amount, giving you genuine cash in the bank. In some cases this cashback amount is as much as $5000 per machine.
