In May 2011 Cigweld released an exciting addition to its second tier WeldSkill Range. The WeldSkill 250 & 350 MIGS now allow the average tradesman to buy a simple, easy to operate powerful MIG welding plant, suitable for a range of applications but without the heavy price tag. Every Job needs Skill: The NEW WeldSkill 250 & 350 MIGs Welding machines can be complex and technical, requiring a great amount of skill and knowledge to operate. Yet with the increasing number of Aussie tradesmen and home handymen, demand is growing for a more simple solution for those basic welding jobs that still require optimum power and precision. For this reason CIGWELD have released the ideal ‘tradie’ option with the new WeldSkill 250 & 350 MIGs. An easy to operate, heavy duty powerful MIG welding plant, that can be used for a broad range of applications. The WeldSkill 250 & 350 are single phase compact power sources designed specifically for the handyperson or tradesmen that requires high quality welding performance. This constant voltage power source is rated to 250 amps @ 25% duty cycle for the WeldSkill 250 and rated to 350 amps @ 30% duty cycle for the WeldSkill 350. Both units provide excellent arc performance with solid and flux coated welding wires and are suitable for use with either CO2 or mixed shielding gases. The WeldSkill 4 Roll Wirefeeder is specifically designed for use on both the WeldSkill 250 and 350 Compact power sources. The unit can be easily added to either model power source by simply plugging in and selecting ‘remote mode’. These machines were launched and demonstrated at the recent National Manufacturers Week in Melbourne (May 17th-20th) and generated a great amount of interest amongst all types of tradesmen, from fabrication to maintenance and repairs. “Finally a low cost, low fuss MIG machine that doesn’t compromise on weld quality” were the comments of one on-looker.
