Screenmasters Continue to Expand in Queensland

Screenmasters Australia, distributors for Doppstadt, Keestrack and Rockster Mobile Crushers, Screens and Shredders, recently invested in a new QLD Head Office and yet more warehousing space for spare and wear parts .This brings Screenmasters total of warehouse’s, for the storing of parts and the working on their extensive hire fleet to 5.

This new Head Office, located at Ormeau half way between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, has some 2,500 square metres of warehousing and another 3000 square metres of hard stand adjacent to the office block for the storage of machines. All up the 2 properties are 5500 square metres, in a prime position, just off the Gold Coast Highway.

Queensland Office“While business conditions are a lot harder now than they were a few years ago, we still believe in the growth of the Queensland quarry and mining sector’ says Mick Lagan, Screenmasters Director ‘this significant investment is proof of that. We believe that it will continue to grow and we need this sort of infrastructure to support it. This is only one of many investments Screenmasters have planned for the state of Queensland and other states over the coming months and years. All up some $9.5 million has been set aside for this type of investment.”

Screenmasters management and staff felt that the investment was necessary, as the sales of Keestrack, Rockster and Doppstadt machines increased. More and more wear and spare parts were required to support these machines. A property this size allows Screenmasters to store all wear parts indoors and not leave them outside exposed to the elements, in addition it allows Screenmasters to comfortably increase their stocking levels.

Screenmasters will move into their new offices in July 2010 with the entire move from their existing offices completed by September 2010 at the latest.
