A telehandler (also known as telescopic handler), is most commonly used for agricultural applications such as moving hay or other loads to and from otherwise unreachable locations. They resemble a forklift but also have a boom, which makes it more similar to a crane. The boom can extend forwards and upwards from the machine's body, the reach capacity depends on the model.
