AUSPACK is Australasia’s ultimate processing and packaging exhibition and has been since 1985. Recognizing the need for an exhibition that showcases the latest innovations in the packaging, processing and plastics field, AUSPACK founded the event for industry figures to get a first hand experience of the machinery, materials and associated technologies available within Australasia. In 2017, the event continues to put the industry’s best new machines and materials on show.

Got something that needs to be packaged? Then AUSPACK’s got the material or machine for you. The four day packing extravaganza will return to the Sydney Showgrounds with hundreds of new products and more than a hundred industry exhibitors. To optimize the visitor’s experience in 2017, AUSPACK has developed an app that incorporates the latest in AR technology, and will allow attendees to plan their visit, search exhibitor lists and view an informational spiel in augmented reality.

Among the app features is the AUSPACK Matchmake. This feature will connect visitors with particular exhibitors and allow them to discuss specific business needs in dedicated meetings. Carrying on with the theme of advanced technology, visitors to the 2017 AUSPACK will also be aided by the customer service robot AMY. The intelligent robot will guide visitors through the event program, exhibitor listings and locations. The interpretation of new tech suits with the ethos of this year’s event, which will revolve around Industry 4.0 and the developing intelligence within machinery.

The floor of the event has already been stacked with machine manufacturers and the latest in packaging materials. Among these products attendees are sure to find solutions to increasing productivity and profitability with an emphasis on automating the production line. The event invites figures from the frozen goods, beverage, baking, food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and material handling industries to attend this years AUSPACK.
