If you’ve been trawling through tractors or mowers and haven’t been able to make the financial commitment without physical evidence, the 2017 Berry Small Farm Field Days may hold the answers you seek. The Expo puts the latest tractor and mower models to work, showcasing the machines’ utility and giving buyers a first-hand opportunity to measure the craft of the vehicle.
Berry Small Farm Field Days puts a powerful collection of mowers and tractors onto the Berry Fields. The Expo allows local trade retailers as well as farm machine manufacturers to showcase their new latest models in a competitive environment. Visitors are invited to test the machine’s ergonomics, measure specs against specs and make an informed decision about what brand or model they’ll be leaving with, or purchasing in the future.
Last year the expo also expanded its cannon to garden fair. A spectacle of plant species, garden stalls, garden art and yard tools coloured the already lush Berry Showgrounds, giving visitors some diversity when browsing the Expo’s goods.
The Field Day will hope to add more personalities to its list in 2017, especially considering that last year Better Homes and Gardens personality Jason Hodges made a sneaky appearance. While he didn’t take the stage, there were plenty of other professionals giving live talks and demonstrations to those in attendance.
The South Coast and Illawarra regions of NSW have a long history in the Australian dairy and agriculture industry. The region has become a magnet for farmers and horticulturalists, and the Berry Small Farm Field Days recognizes the opportunity. The Expo breaks the ice between businesses and visitors, opening markets to the companies that elect to exhibit. Previous studies suggest that over 60% of attendees are looking for new farming products and ideas for living on smaller properties.
Field Day sites are priced from between $150-$550, depending on the size of the site. More information is provided on the Berry Small Farm Field Days exhibitor page.
The Berry Showgrounds are just a few minutes walk from the historical Berry Village and can be reached by Alexandra Street just off the Princes Highway. For access by public transport or for information about Berry Village and its surroundings, contact the Showgrounds on 0427 605 200.
