Timber & Working With Wood Slider
The Timber & Working With Wood Show is Australia’s premier event for woodworking. The three day event is prefect for weekend hobbyists and the home DIY’er as well as experienced and professional woodworkers.
Visitors
The show will feature the latest in industry technology as well as teaching attendees new techniques from the industry’s best. Australia’s largest collection of timber will also be on display, with the Asia Pacific’s best timbers coming together to help end your search for that perfect piece.
The event will host Come, Try, Learn & Buy demonstrations for all ages of wood enthusiasts, as well as Wood Working for Women Working, a demonstration specifically put on for women wood hobbyists. There will be also be experts running Renovating and Restoring shows that inform audiences restoration and reclamation techniques as well as DIY themed demonstrations for home furniture crafting to suit all skill levels.
Expect competition details, floor plans and demonstration timetables to arrive in the near future.
Tickets
Admission will cost an adult $16 and those with a concession card $14, while children (Under 14) when accompanied by an adult on Saturday and Sunday are free.

Route 526 – Rhodes to Burwood via Wentworth Point, Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf, Sydney Olympic Park Station and Strathfield. Route 401 – Lidcombe Station to Sydney Olympic Park Station via Lidcombe. FerrySydney Ferries run a daily service between Circular Quay and Paramatta stopping at Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf. ParkingSydney Olympic Park is easily approached by road, with the M4, Victoria Road and Parramatta Road in close proximity. Click here to use the map to plan your route. Parking is easy with 10,000 car parking spaces available at Sydney Olympic Park. We recommend you pre-book parking if you plan to visit AIMEX. Casual parking is available for $5 per hour or $25 per day maximum. Bring change for coin operated parking machines.
