PDFs should be a vital part of your online selling strategy. While not as qualified or \u2018hot\u2019 as an email or phone enquiry, the humble PDF is still a very useful tool for snagging prospects at the top of the sales funnel. <\/span><\/p>\n

Before we continue, please note you\u2019ll need to be a Machines4U member or upgrade your ad to unlock the PDF upload feature. <\/span><\/p>\n

What Type Of PDF Info Should I Add To My Listing?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Buyers who want your PDF need to hand over their details to get it. If your PDF is irrelevant or doesn\u2019t supply useful information, 2 things will happen:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. The buyer is going to go elsewhere to find the info \u2014 you\u2019ll lose the lead<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. The buyer will lose trust in downloading other PDFs on your listings<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This is why it\u2019s important to always attach relevant information specific to the machinery you\u2019re selling. Things like product brochures, machine spec sheets and other relevant information will help you move one step closer to making the sale. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Adding A PDF To Your Listing<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Now we get to the easy part! Once you have the PDFs you want to upload to your listing, save them somewhere handy (like on your desktop). You can add PDFs 2 ways:<\/span><\/p>\n

    If you\u2019re uploading your listing from scratch, <\/span>follow these steps<\/span><\/a>. Underneath the video upload section, you will see the Upload PDF option (image below).<\/span><\/p>\n

    Or you can also add a PDF to a listing that\u2019s already live. <\/span><\/p>\n

    To do this:<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Login to your Machines4U Account<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Click \u2018My Adverts\u2019 in the homepage dropdown<\/span>
      \n<\/span>Or<\/span>
      \n<\/span>Click \u2018Content\u2019 in your Account Dashboard and click \u2018Live\u2019 to see your current live ads<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Search for your ad\/listing<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      5. Scroll to the end of the page and you\u2019ll see the upload PDF button:<\/span><\/p>\n
