RDO Equipment Australia, the trusted John Deere and Vermeer equipment dealer with a rich history spanning nearly 60-years in Toowoomba, will move their local dealership to FKG Group\u2019s Aatlis Precinct, aligning with other leading regional and agribusinesses already situated there. This development is part of the company\u2019s strategy to provide a network of world-class facilities across key regional locations.<\/p>\n

RDO Equipment CEO Phil Canning says the investment is a sign of the company\u2019s commitment to the wider Darling Downs region.<\/p>\n

\u201cToowoomba is the heart of regional south-east Queensland, and RDO Equipment is proud to be a part of and support the region\u2019s diverse agricultural production and infrastructure developments. We\u2019re extremely excited to be building a new state of the art workshop and dealership in this key distribution hub. We\u2019ll be ideally situated to allow for the growth of the construction side of our business and respond to current and future needs and opportunities in the agricultural and infrastructure sectors,\u201d Phil says.<\/p>\n

The RDO Toowoomba dealership, one of RDO Equipment\u2019s largest, is unique in its broad and deep customer base, which extends from lawn mower customers to large agricultural and, more recently, construction equipment. Besides John Deere and Vermeer, the Toowoomba customers are offered a suite of innovative, complementary brands including Horsch, Manitou and Kuhn. The new, purpose-built facilities, designed by FKG, will hold a growing range of construction, agriculture, turf, and utility equipment to cater for the needs of all its customers.<\/p>\n

\u201cPartnering with our customers lies at the core of who we are. Our new location in the Aatlis Precinct, with large, modern facilities, and conveniently situated for surface and air transport, will place us in an optimal position to continue to offer our customers the service they need now and well into the future,\u201d Phil says.<\/p>\n

The new building will also house support staff currently located away from the branch. \u201cWe have a dedicated team that supports our 29 locations with crucial functions in parts and service, accounts and finance, human resources, training, precision agriculture and IT. Nearly 50 of them are based in Toowoomba and are looking forward to moving into their own area in the new facilities.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jack Gardner, Group Manager of the FKG Group\u2019s Development arm, says his team are proud to be working with RDO Equipment on their expansion and relocation to the Aatlis Precinct.<\/p>\n
