A 40HP compact tractor is a popular size for all round performance. And when you drive a Branson you will see, hear, and feel the difference. Design, engineering and construction is controlled by the Branson Tractor Company right through to engine manufacturing so the entire tractor functions in total harmony. A proven synchro forward / reverse shuttle shift transmission puts power to the ground and legendary turning circle offers great maneuverability.
The front end loader is state of the art featuring single joystick operation 4 in 1 bucket and self-levelling functionality. You can do it all blading, levelling, grabbing and scooping.
Features
ENGINE
The eco-friendly engine is genuine Branson built for quiet operation and low fuel consumption. The "long stroke" design produces maximum torque at a lower operating speed. Branson's high-torque engines will pull you through tough spots that many other engines won't!
TRANSMISSION
An efficient transmission lets your tractor perform at its best. Our transmission provides 12 speeds forward and 12 speeds in reverse. The travel speed gears are fully synchronized, there is no "gear grinding" when shifting! Branson's dash mounted control lever smoothly shifts the tractor from forward to reverse. First gear is 1.3 km/h. It's perfect for slow speed PTO operations. Transport speed is 26 km/h. There are 10 other speeds between these two.
FRONT AXLE
Branson front axles are all 4 wheel drive. They are designed with a dual power direction, hydrostatic, steering cylinder. We do not use a steering drag link. This is a major advantage for 56 degree industry leading tight turns and low steering effort. Elimination of the drag link provides uniform front tire wear and much easier steering effort in front loader applications!
HITCH
Three-point hitches aren't all the same! Branson's is strong and balanced with the tractor.
The Category I hitch has a lift capacity of 1500kg at the ball end. Telescoping, adjustable, hitch stabilizers are standard equipment! Compare Branson's yoke type rockshaft lift arms. They are the best design available!
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Hydraulics are the life-blood of the whole tractor. Our dual pump design provides 18 lpm to the steering system and 33.5 lpm to the loader or other hydraulic functions. Steering is smooth and easy, while all other hydraulic demands can operate at their own performance requirement, all at the same time. The dual Hydraulic remotes are a standard feature which enables you to connect up hydraulic implement. It's the way all hydraulics should be!"
PTO
Independent 540/780 rpm PTO is a standard feature on Branson's F Series Tractors. Electric PTO also enables easy live or independent operation. A nice standard feature is 540 "E" PTO which lets the engine run 25% slower. This enables quieter, more fuel efficient operation in light operating conditions, such as mowing, spraying, etc. In heavy duty conditions, simply move the selector lever to standard mode. It really helps PTO implements work well!
OPERATOR COMFORT AND SAFETY
The true flat deck is easy to get on and off with nothing to stumble on. Highback and wide operators seat provides excellent comfort. Found in top of the line tractors, wet disc brakes are standard on Branson tractors assuring you always have safe, powerful braking power. And to top it off 4WD is standard with an easy shift lever.
