An accurately metered abrasive mixture is a critical component of any efficient Waterjet cutting operation. Precise control of the flow of garnet to the cutting head has a direct impact on garnet consumption, reduces the number of blockages caused by fluctuations in the feed rate, and also results in a better edge quality on the workpiece.
The Feedline Range gives the benefit of being able to:
Control exactly how much abrasive your equipment is consuming

Reduce the number of blockages caused by surges and fluctuations in the garnet feed
“Dial Up” feed rates. The adjustment enables accurate adjustment of feed rates between 0 and 2 1/2 pounds per minute
Quickly increase or reduce garnet feed to suit the type and thickness of material being cut
The Feedline range can be integrated with standard air connections found on most waterjet machines. The Feedline also has a built in water overflow port on the abrasive outlet to help prevent abrasive inside the hopper becoming contaminated in the event of backflush.
Feedline V
The KMT Feedline V hopper is integrated with your controller for precise automatic feed rates. This unique design has proven to deliver a perfectly consistent feed of garnet by using a small motorized feed belt. This unit also has a level monitor to maintain hopper levels during the cutting process. It also has back flush detectors which trip the controller commands in the case of a back flush to ensure the workpiece is not damaged.
