The SGM DNP overbelt separator is designed to be positioned at the head of the belt at a max. distance of 200 - 250 mm from the belt pulley, with a rod across the top of the belt.
Based on HG technologies, the magnetic circuit is designed to achieve a high and controlled multi-directional gradient, generated by special magnets, with a high magnetic energy and deep field. The magnets are set on a steel structure with a high magnetic permeability and a manganese wear-resistant steel box contains the structure
The belt is made of anti-abrasion rubber with ring closings and transversal trapezium-shape rubber fillets fit on the belt by means of a high temperature adherence process and vulcanization.
The SGM DNE overbelt is positioned crosswise over the conveyor belt for separating heavy ferrous metal pieces. The iron objects running on the conveyor belt are attracted by the magnetic power and carried away with the overbelt magnets. The object leaves the area of the magnetic field and is automatically dropped into a container or conveyor exit. It is made of pure rolled iron with a high magnetic permeability; the magnetic circuit is specifically designed to set very high values of magnetic gradient verifying that these values increase towards the central zone of attraction (in order to increase deferrization) whereas decreasing towards the discharging zone (for the easy evacuation of the processed material).
