When Peter Esse, Satch Santilli and Graham Murphy completed a management buyout of the Case Equipment Sydney retail operations in May 1994 as Semco Pty Ltd, the wealth of their combined experience quickly forged a reputation as one of the industry’s most respected suppliers.

Semco’s robust financial position is demonstrated through its ownership of all its property, plant and inventory assets, achieved through prudent funds re-investment throughout the company’s 17 year history.
Semco is 100 percent Australian owned and operated. Its head office is located at St Marys in Western Sydney and all of New South Wales is serviced by its comprehensive regional sales, service and parts centres in Newcastle and Queanbeyan.

A major milestone for Semco was reached in 2008 with the achievement of cumulative sales of $0.5 billion since the company commenced operations.

The Semco range includes Terex backhoe loaders; Takeuchi – excavators and crawler-loaders; Fiori - mobile concrete batchers and dumpers; Astec trenchers; Case IH agricultural machinery; New Holland agricultural equipment and Hardi spray equipment.

During 2010 the company was awarded distribution of U.Emme attachments, followed soon after by the popular Toro Mini Loaders and the rock breaking implements of Chicago Pneumatics’ CP Hammers range.

Further growth of the Semco portfolio occurred in June 2011 when the company was appointed the Dynapac dealer for Rural New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. This distribution arrangement includes all local Government in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

Semco has achieved an excellent industry reputation for a high level of service and close attention to customer support. All Semco workshops have achieved the level of “Gold Service Accreditation” under the Case Dealer Standards Program and employ only qualified tradespeople who are experienced in the service and repair of earthmoving equipment.
