Cat Parts Now More Obtainable Than Ever

Today, Caterpillar dealer WesTrac announced the launch of their brand-new website, www.flexiparts.com.au. This extensive online inventory contains a huge range of used, refurbished and as-new Cat parts for the mining sector.

FlexiParts & Mining Services, a division that has existed inside of WesTrac for some time, aims to provide a complete solution for sourcing and selling cost-effective parts, components and attachments through their global network. In fact, customers will also be able to sell used parts directly to FlexiParts, which will be used to bolster the inventory available.

On top of Cat parts and equipment, FlexiParts & Mining Services will also stock and sell a broad range of products from other OEMs, and exchange and purchasing options will also exist for non-powertrain products.

According to Travis Cargill, WesTrac General Manager Mining & FlexiParts,

“the major advantage of FlexiParts & Mining Services is that it provides customers with cost-effective options, sourced specifically for their needs, from anywhere in the world.”

The move to make FlexiParts its own branded used parts business, rather than just a department inside WesTrac, was motivated by increased demand for affordable, quality parts delivered as quickly as possible, which isn’t always possible when waiting for new parts and components.

“That often reduces wait time that can occur when purchasing new parts and provides customers with significant savings,”

Travis also said,

“It’s also important to note that while the business is evolving into a standalone entity, it will continue to maintain its close ties with other divisions within WesTrac and retain in-depth familiarity of customer sites and requirements.”

To further ensure customers are getting their parts and components promptly and in the best condition, FlexiParts has specifically designed a range of transport frame for the safe transportation of their broad range of items.

Danielle Bull, WesTrac General Manager Product Support said,

“We’ve put a lot of emphasis on ensuring we can provide fit-for-purpose transport frames for a large range of parts, so customers know they not only have access to well-priced parts, but delivery to site will be a seamless process.”
