Increased Serviceability

To help reduce maintenance costs and downtime, Cat has designed the 336DL with easily accessible service locations for quick, simple access to the main components. For instance, the radiator is behind the rear left service door, which opens wide for easy access to the oil cooler, engine radiator and air-to-air cooler.

While on the right side of the machine, you’ll find a service door on the upper structure. This provides ground-level access to the pump and pilot filter. To go with this efficient design, Cat has fitted the 336D L with S-O-S sampling ports and hydraulic test ports for the:

• Hydraulic system
• Engine oil
• Coolant

To go with serviceability is the complete customer care that dealers provide. New machines come with warranty and the option for customer support, and regular repair and maintenance program.

Each Cat 336DL excavator is fitted with an LCD display, capable of displaying information in 27 different languages. As well as an automatic climate control system that automatically adjusts temperature and flow, ensuring your operator works in comfort all day.

The gauge display is conveniently placed to ensure the operator is able to quickly and easily monitor key information, like:
