Isuzu Power Solutions (IPS), a leading supplier of dependable diesel power systems across Australia and New Zealand, is proud to highlight its thriving partnership with South Australian-based remote power specialist, All Gen Solutions.

Recently appointed to the growing IPS dealer network, All Gen Solutions has quickly established itself as a trusted operator, delivering complex remote power and hybrid energy projects across some of Australia’s harshest and most isolated environments.

Specialising in remote off-grid power systems, All Gen Solutions designs, engineers and delivers turnkey diesel and hybrid microgrid installations for a diverse range of end-users including remote communities, infrastructure providers and industrial operators nationwide.

Remote specialists

Director, Adam Lillecrapp, said the business was built on decades of hands-on experience in remote generation and a commitment to delivering reliable, fit-for-purpose power solutions.

“We specialise in remote off-grid power solutions,” said Mr Lillecrapp.

“Typically, diesel systems are our bread and butter, but with the changing climate we’re now moving into hybrid microgrids and integrating solar and battery technology into diesel generation systems to support remote communities and reduce reliance on diesel.”

Founded in 2017, All Gen Solutions has rapidly expanded from a small operation into a nationally active remote power contractor, delivering specialised projects throughout South Australia, Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Queensland, as well as internationally in Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands.

The Oodnadatta project

One standout project the company recently completed was the design and specification of a hybrid micro-grid power station at Oodnadatta in remote South Australia, over 1,000 kilometres north-west of Adelaide.

The project was funded by the South Australian Department for Energy and Mining and delivered by Apex Energy, with All Gen Solutions contributing the specialist remote power expertise. All Gen Solutions integrated solar photovoltaic (PV), battery storage and IPS diesel generation into a seamless standalone energy system powering the entire community.

The project incorporates approximately 450kW of solar PV, a 500kW/1.2MWh battery energy storage system and three 200kW diesel IPS generators integrated through advanced microgrid controls.

The system now supplies critical services throughout the remote township, with a population of 102 people, including the school, police station, medical facilities and local businesses, while significantly reducing diesel consumption and improving long-term energy security.

Mr Lillecrapp said IPS products were selected specifically for their reliability and suitability for remote operating conditions.

Reliability & robustness

“We chose to stock, sell and supply the IPS product based on its reliability, fuel economy and robustness to deliver performance in the remote locations that we work in,” Mr Lillecrapp said.

“The Oodnadatta job is a great example because it’s classed as one of the hottest places on the planet, and the Isuzu product gives us the ambient capability to operate in those conditions, with some of the best lifecycle costings of any manufacturer in the market.”

A complementary approach

IPS National Sales Manager, Mr Troy Lawson, said the partnership reflects a strong alignment between both businesses’ technical expertise and customer-first approach.

“Adam and the All Gen Solutions team are exactly the type of operator we value within the IPS dealer network,” said Mr Lawson.

“They’re experts in the realities of remote power delivery, they back their engineering capability, and they’ve built a strong reputation for delivering reliable outcomes in extremely demanding environments.”

Mr Lawson said All Gen Solutions represented an important addition to the IPS network as demand for resilient hybrid and off-grid energy systems continues to grow.

“What makes All Gen Solutions unique is the breadth of their capability across remote diesel generation, hybrid microgrids and turnkey project delivery – they provide an end-to-end solution,” he said.

“They’re working in locations where reliability is absolutely critical, and IPS products are helping underpin that performance.”

All Gen Solutions are now an IPS dealer and distributor.

Support & synergy

Mr Lillecrapp said the support from IPS had been instrumental in delivering successful outcomes for customers.

“The support, service and overall partnership we’ve built with the IPS team has been fantastic,” he said.

“From a technical support point of view and also from a product sales perspective, we’re extremely proud to call ourselves an Isuzu Power Solutions dealer.”

Important work

As All Gen Solutions continues to expand its remote power capability, Mr Lawson said the partnership would play an important role in delivering dependable energy solutions to remote communities and industrial operators throughout Australia.

“This partnership is about more than just supplying and on-selling engines. It’s about supporting innovative Australian businesses that are solving real-world energy challenges in remote regions.

“We’re excited about what the future holds with All Gen Solutions and proud to support the important work they’re delivering across the country,” Mr Lawson concluded.
