John Deere Release New & Improved Rotary Cutters

John Deere have launched a new lineup of rotary cutters, promising enhanced cut quality and mowing performance. The all-new deck design, rear torsional suspension and variety in working widths means there’s a rotary cutter to tackle any job; mow grass, pastures, corporate land, parks and crop stalks.

The key element to these new rotary cutters lies in the deck and cutting chamber design. Cristina Guzman, marketing rep for John Deere, says the new design means a cleaner, more precise cut.

“The all-new cutting chamber has been designed from the ground up to control air flow under the deck. This improves cutting performance and cut material distribution from below the deck, while reducing material accumulation on top of the cutter deck.”

New Rotary Cutters Lineup & Features

The new John Deere rotary cutter lineup includes the E, M and R Series.

Features of these new rotary cutters include:

  • Updated deck & cutting chamber design
  • A variety of working widths & configurations
  • Larger volume cutting chambers
  • Suspended front mount to improve stability
  • New torsional suspension system (optional for M Series and standard in R Series)

“[The suspended front] helps reduce stress on the machine while delivering a comfortable ride for the driver,” explains Guzman.
