Massey Ferguson Release New GC1700 Series Compact Tractors

Massey Ferguson has released 2 new models to their GC1700 compact tractor series, replacing existing models including the MFGC 1705, 1715 and 1720. The new GC1700 series consists of the GC1723E and GC1725M models, which feature a similar style to what you’d expect from Massey Ferguson’s larger tractors.

Product manager for AGCO Corporation, official distributors of Massey Ferguson, Simon Van Kruining says the new models feature redesigned style, functionality and control—perfect for grounds-care and farm work.

“We’re introducing the new models to the market with redesigned styling, functionality, and control placement, which will make the new MF GC Series easy to own and a pleasure to operate.”

“There are specification options to suit most users, which will make them ideal for grounds-care and farm work. Whether the job is commercial or residential, we’re confident the new range will get the job done efficiently.”

Features of the GC1700 Series Compact Tractors

The new GC1700 series models are versatile compact tractors that can be equipped to take on multiple tasks—perfect for saving on multiple machines.

“Users today are looking for a comfortable tractor that is productive and versatile to tackle a range of tasks. They also expect it to be exceptional value and this is exactly what we are offering with the new MF GC Series,” says Simon.

Both models are equipped with a loader quick-attach design, which allows operators to remove attachments easily. They also come with optional front loader and mowing deck attachments to maximise performance and deliver fine cuts for turf managers and farmers alike. A self-standing backhoe attachment is also available for the GC1725M.

The new GC1700 model compact tractors feature:

  • Cruise control
  • Three point linkage
  • Safety lock-out lever
  • Hydraulic joystick controls
  • 3-cylinder liquid cooled engine
  • Dual hydrostatic controls pedals

The GC1723E and GC1725M compact tractors deliver outstanding performance with the largest engine in their class. They also feature a low-rated engine rpm, which reduces vibration and noise during operation. This also helps to decrease fuel consumption and improves engine life.
