The National Diesel, Dirt & Turf (DDT) Expo is the largest annual construction exhibition in Australia. Held at the Sydney Dragway in Eastern Creek, the 3-day event brings together machinery manufacturers, dealers, sole traders, tradies, and families from across the country.
Despite some mixed weather, the entry lines to the 2025 expo were nothing short of impressive with people lining up and counting down for the gates to open.
The Machines4U team attended the show, and were proud to be the media sponsor of this year’s event.
“Really pleased to be part of Diesel, Dirt & Turf this year! Glad to be the media sponsor; Machines4U has been part of Diesel, Dirt & Turf for many years, and we’re glad to be back,” said James Barnacle, Head of Media at Machines4U.
“The reason why we love coming here is all the brands and manufacturers are here in one place. We get to speak to them all collectively, and we’re looking forward to the entire weekend,” said James.
Across the 3-day event, the Machines4U team ran a remote control excavator giveaway with a demo sandpit set up for kids and adults alike to enjoy.
“It was such a great event with fun for the whole family! It was fantastic to be there” said Bryn Jones, Customer Success Lead at Machines4U.
Congratulations to the winners, we know they went home stoked with their very own excavator!
With so many exhibitors on display we’ve put together some of our highlights from the 2025 DDT expo below.
Semco Equipment Sales and BHM Plant Hire put on an epic display at DDT with the highlight being the impressive Morooka MST110CR tracked dumper—the latest fleet addition for BHM Plant Hire supplied by Semco Equipment Sales.
Zoomlion Australia were certainly showing off with the ZS080V skid steer loader giving everything in this demonstration that showcased agile, compact machinery that makes a big impact.
Komatsu Australia were the Gold sponsor of the Diesel, Dirt & Turf Expo for the fifth consecutive year, and their display was nothing short of spectacular.
Located on Komatsu Street, the display had something for everyone including a fleet of mini-excavators, a PC360LCi with intelligent machine control and a D71PXi-24 Dozer kitted out in the impressive Atlassian Williams Racing blue.
Buckets of epic proportions are no stranger to being exhibited at DDT, but this one was special.
The team at Roo Attachments unveiled this PC2000 bucket at DDT in collaboration with BYG S.A. and Fishburn Heavy Fabrication. It brings together the dedication, precision and collaboration that make the heavy equipment industry so special.
XCMG Australia‘s XDA45 articulated dump truck was a standout at the expo. Not only is this mammoth of a machine impressive to look at, but it’s also specially designed for mining operation with its 39,000kg load capacity.
The National Diesel, Dirt & Turf Expo was a huge success for all involved, and we’re glad we got to be part of the action in 2025. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event! Until then, browse construction machinery for sale here.
