Look Out 2022: A Machinery Business is Booming!

Presented by Active Machinery

With supply issues and lengthy lockdowns, the last couple of years have brought many roadblocks to the machinery industry. While it has been quite a feat to stay afloat, the demand for machinery hasn’t slowed down—with many in the industry selling shipping containers full of machinery before they even reach Australian shores. One Aussie-owned machinery business excited for the opportunities 2022 will bring is Active Machinery.

Based in Victoria, Active Machinery is expecting a large shipment of new excavator models, loader models, as well as small and large machinery to suit many businesses across the construction industry.

“Next year’s our year,” says Steve, Active Machinery Sales Manager. “We’re excited to receive this next shipment of machines from our partners in Asia, built specifically to cater to the needs of our customers.”

The Machines

Active Machinery specialises in wheel loaders, mini excavators and mini skid steers, each using tried-and-tested brand engines including Perkins, Yanmar, Kubota, Cummins and Caterpillar. Their focus: quality builds for the Australian construction market.

“Our wheel loaders are built using thicker steel, which gives them a very strong load frame to get even the toughest job done,” says Steve. “We’ve been supplying Australian businesses with thousands of wheel loaders for well over a decade, and they are designed and built in our own factory.”

“We’ve also designed our loader counterweights to be made of solid steel and concrete. This gives the machine extra counterbalance and lifting abilities.”

Parts & Service

When you purchase a machine, you want to know that you’ll be looked after long after the sale, especially if something were to happen. The Active Machinery workshop includes repair and service facilities, with dedicated technicians and diesel mechanics. It’s also fully equipped with a variety of parts.

“We stock a wide range of quality componentry and spare parts to ensure our customers are looked after long after the sale,” says Steve. “This includes parts for our machinery as well as components for other machinery brands.”

And for those who cannot get their machinery to the workshop?

“No problems,” says Steve, “we offer our customers on-site assistance for servicing and mechanical repairs, including field technicians who look after our service and warranty repairs for customers in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.”

Every machine is sold with a full pre-delivery inspection to ensure the machinery is ready to go once it reaches the customer. If you’re in the market for machinery, see what Active Machinery has available here.
