Isuzu delivers ‘4×4 x More’ with new off-road range

Isuzu delivers ‘4×4 x More’ with new off-road range

Presented by Isuzu Power Solutions

With volunteer brigades, emergency services and disaster response agencies in preparation mode for the warmer months ahead, Isuzu Trucks has launched its off-road truck range, highlighting the role the trucks play in support of remote and regional Australian operators every day of the year.

While the looming bushfire season places renewed focus on the role of reliable four-wheel-drive transport, the industries that rely on them never stop.

From mining and utilities to telecommunications, local government and remote infrastructure, Isuzu’s latest AWD and 4×4 models have been engineered to deliver 4×4 x more.

The new Isuzu 4×4 & AWD range showcases more choice, more safety, more technology and greater capability across some of Australia’s most demanding vocational applications.

Heavy hitter: the flagship FTS sits at the top of Isuzu’s 4×4 tree.

More of the best

Craig White, Head of Sales at Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL), said the new line-up incorporates significant advances in performance, efficiency and safety.

“We’ve taken a range that has earned its reputation over decades in Australia’s toughest operating environments and made it even better.

“Customers now have more model choice, more advanced safety, more refined powertrains, improved driveability and more application-specific capability than ever before.

“Be it supporting emergency crews during bushfire season, maintaining essential utilities in remote areas or tackling tasks across mining, construction and infrastructure, these trucks are built to deliver where it matters most.”

The proven NPS 4×4 is a hit with off-road adventure enthusiasts.

The range

The all-new N Series and F Series off-road line-up is a task-ready range built specifically for Australia’s unique and unforgiving operating conditions.

The light-duty N Series 4×4 and All Wheel Drive line-up now offers customers more choice than ever before, headlined by the addition of an all-new model, the NQS 4×4, specified smartly and exclusively for fire and emergency services applications.

Joining the proven NPS 4×4 and versatile NMS AWD models, the expanded line-up broadens Isuzu’s offering across emergency services, remote field support, utilities and specialist fleet applications.

Selected Ready-to-Work variants also provide factory-backed Traypack, Tipper and Servicepack-X solutions, helping businesses get to work sooner and with minimum fuss.

Further up the offroad range, the medium-duty F Series continues to provide purpose-built solutions for larger vocational fleets, with the bullet-proof FSS 110-210 4×4 and flagship FTS 150-260 4×4 supporting emergency response, utilities, mining and remote-area operations where payload, durability and uncompromising off-road performance are non-negotiable.

New generation driveline technology underpins the new range.

What’s new

Across the range, Isuzu has introduced its most comprehensive package of product enhancements yet.

New-generation powertrains deliver improved performance while meeting the latest emissions standards, and the introduction of Isuzu’s advanced nine-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DTC) across key N Series models brings smoother shifting, improved driveability and reduced driver fatigue.

Upgraded braking systems, expanded Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), re-imagined cabins and enriched driver and crew comfort further bolsters a range developed to perform in the most demanding conditions.

Go anywhere, do more.

Acknowledging the diversity of end-use across this segment, Mr White said the breadth of the line-up was another key selling point, with Isuzu now offering more off-road solutions across more applications.

“One thing I’m constantly reminded of in my role is that no two customers are the same, which is why this range has been developed to deliver more choice in this segment than we’ve ever had before,” he said.

“Whether customers require a light-duty AWD truck for regional service or agricultural tasks, a proven NPS 4×4 for a camper conversion, or the sheer capability and driveability of our new NQS model, there’s an Isuzu 4×4 solution designed for the just about every end use imaginable.”

As Australia’s truck market leader and a recognised authority in application-specific truck development, the latest AWD and 4×4 range maintains a long-standing commitment to engineering off-road capital equipment for unique Australian conditions.

“Australian operators expect trucks that are engineered specifically for the jobs they perform.

“They need vehicles capable of moving confidently between highways, regional roads and difficult off-road terrain while delivering the safety, reliability, compliance and productivity modern fleets demand.

“It’s a range developed to deliver more capability, more confidence and more opportunity for the industries that rely on these trucks every day.”
