This large, whole of building air conditioning system was installed in a 1000SQ/M engineering workshop in mid 2023 and has been used for approximately 7 months each year since then over the summer period. The plant is located in Cairns, NQ and has been very effective in maintaining the temperature inside our 1000square meter workshop at the set temperature every day during our hot and humid summers.
The machine shop houses a number of CNC and manual machines and operators, all of which add to the heat load in the building.
The main aircon system is built as a transportable unit and is approximately the size of a standard 6m shipping container.
There is also ducting and air intake metalwork as well as a 40m long flexible delivery duct that is included in the sale.
The entire aircon system will be removed from the building and packed ready for shipping prior to sale.
This airconditioning system has been powered by a 100kW solar system located on the roof of the building and this system produced sufficient power to run the air con system and also considerably reduce our imported power each day when the machines inside the building were running.
This solar system is also for sale and will be removed from the premises and packed ready for transport prior to sale.
