The Ryazan 1N65J-8 is a heavy-duty geared head centre lathe manufactured by the renowned Ryazan Machine Tool Works, Russia. Designed for machining large shafts, rollers, mining equipment and heavy engineering components, the 1N65 series is recognised worldwide for its exceptional rigidity, large spindle capacity and reliable geared head construction.

This machine was built in 1992, making it one of the later production examples of this proven design.

With an impressive 1400mm swing over bed and 8000mm between centres, this machine is ideally suited to large diameter and long workpieces commonly encountered in mining, power generation, steel fabrication and heavy engineering industries.
