Heavy duty sandbag filling hopper and placement system designed for filling and positioning
large geotextile sandbags used in coastal protection, cofferdams and temporary water control
works.
The system allows an excavator operator to efficiently:
• Fill sandbags
• Lift and position bags
• Construct cofferdams or erosion protection structures
Structural steel frame fabricated from approximately 150 mm structural channel sections and
80 mm box steel. Structural features include:
• Reinforced structural frame construction
• Four integrated handling points for lifting or positioning
• Two hooks provided for securing sandbag covers during filling
• Twin hopper discharge system
