This 54m Socage TJJ54 Cherry Picker is now available for purchase. It has done us well for the past 6 years and we've now replaced it with the exact same as part of our fleet refresh program. This impressive unit has a true working height of 54m, a maximum side reach of 38m, 600kg cage capacity, mounted to a tough as nails Astra HD9 8x8 with a 480 HP engine.
It has unmatched entry and departure angle, perfectly balanced for excellent off-road ability with drive to all wheels selectable by driver. Custom built toolboxes to carry all required timbers, pads, tools and accessories, this purpose built truck and machine is at home on any major infrastructure projects. It has extra long stabiliser legs to make even the trickiest setups possible all with automatic stabilisation. The smooth operation of the boom functions make this machine extremely easy to operate from either the ground remote control or the cage console controls.
The HD9 Astra Chassis currently has 136,925 km at 8,461 engine hours and the Socage boom has 5,670 hours of operating time. The truck is normally located in Geebung on the Northside of Brisbane and inspections and test operating is very welcome. The chassis was last serviced in December 2025 and is not due for a further 8 months or 12,000 klm. The machine is serviced every 90 days and was last serviced in March 2026 and the Annual is due in June 2026. The major inspection is due in December 2030. Socage is represented by Altequip for Service and Spare parts, along with full factory support from Italy available for this machine.
