2020 Red Roo SHP400 self propelled stump grinder with a brand new engine and a complete package of spares.

The engine on this machine has been replaced with a brand new unit and has done very little work since it was fitted around eight months ago. There is no hour meter fitted to that engine, so we cannot quote hours and we are not going to guess at a number. What we can do is provide the receipts for the engine purchase, and we encourage any buyer to have their own mechanic inspect it. It will be obvious straight away that the engine is new.

The machine has also had brand new tyres, a new throttle cable, and a full set of new decals fitted.

What makes this one worth a look is everything that comes with it. Included in the sale are spare cutting teeth, spare tooth pockets, spare belts, multiple service kits, the dual wheel system, and a tooth sharpening tool that puts a razor edge back on the teeth. This is a machine that will keep you productive rather than sitting idle waiting on parts.

It is also mounted on a purpose built skid. That solves the problem these machines are known for, which is tipping over on the back of a truck during transport. The skid loads on and off with pockets for forklift handling, and it carries the spares with the machine so your teeth, belts and service kits are all in one place instead of scattered through the ute.

Honestly, this is the machine we wish we could have found when we were starting out. All the hardware problems have already been solved for you. You are not buying a bare machine and then spending another few hundred dollars and a lot of running around on the consumables you did not know you needed.

It is a more manual machine to operate than the big remote control units, and it asks a bit more of the operator, but it will grind out everything you put in front of it and it is a genuinely capable, profitable machine for an owner operator.

Why we are selling: we have hung onto this machine because it is a good machine, we are simply not using it. Our business has outgrown it and we are standardising the fleet. As you can see from the spares package, we look after our gear.
