Heavy Duty Gravity Roller Conveyor with Pneumatic Transfer Rollers

Heavy-duty industrial gravity roller conveyor table measuring approximately 2265mm long × 1.3 metres wide, previously used in a foundry.

Constructed from a welded steel frame with large-diameter steel carrying rollers and fixed support legs. The conveyor also incorporates two transverse transfer assemblies containing multiple smaller rollers.

These transfer assemblies appear to be pneumatically actuated lift-up units, allowing a load to be raised slightly above the main conveyor rollers and moved sideways across the conveyor. Pneumatic fittings are visible, although the operating arrangement has not been tested or confirmed.

Suitable for handling pallets, moulding boxes, foundry flasks, castings, steel fabrications and other large or heavy components.

Transfer assemblies
Two transverse cassette-style assemblies are fitted between the main conveyor rollers.

Each assembly contains a row of smaller barrel-shaped rollers positioned at 90 degrees to the main conveyor direction. These appear intended to:

Lift a pallet, mould box or component clear of the main rollers
Allow sideways transfer across the conveyor
Assist with alignment or transfer between adjoining production lines
