Heavy-duty industrial single-shaft shredder previously operated by Trident Plastics for recycling plastic garbage bins.
Fitted with a large 1400mm-wide cutting rotor, approximately 400mm in diameter, powered by a 75kW TECO three-phase electric motor. The machine incorporates a hydraulically operated pusher that forces bulky material against the cutting rotor for controlled size reduction.
Previously used for processing rigid plastic wheelie bins and reportedly also capable of shredding wooden pallets and other suitable bulky waste.
The cutting chamber contains numerous replaceable rotor knives working against fixed counter-knives, with a removable sizing screen beneath the rotor controlling the discharged material size.
The original invoice may identify the machine or supplier as “Ufin”, but no shredder manufacturer’s identification plate has been located. It is therefore advertised without a confirmed brand.
Suitable for plastics recyclers, timber processors, waste-reduction facilities, manufacturing plants and materials-recovery operations.
