Bending complex profiles simultaneously is a breeze with the Jorns JDB double bending machine , as multitasking is built right in. The clearance behind the clamping tool, with a retraction of the bending tools to over 290 mm, offers exceptionally ample space: This allows you to produce bent profiles without turning or flipping them – in an extraordinary variety of profiles. Multiple profiles can be bent simultaneously in parallel, conically, or in a plug-in configuration. An innovation that makes your work even faster.

The use of servo technology, the automatic loading and unloading table, and the individually driven clamping fingers allow for maximum accuracy, flexibility, and productivity. Thanks to two bending tools, material handling is also radically reduced. The JDB features consistent calculation of the development and stop positions according to the “bending reduction according to DIN 6935” method, intuitive graphical programming, high angular accuracy, and uniformly closed water folds. Complex graphics controller JC100 – easy to use

The JC100 graphic control system is a key component of the Jorns double bending machine. It’s the heart of the machine, bringing all its inherent complexity to life. Yet, operation is remarkably simple: intuitive, as they say these days. In fact, after a brief training period, the machine operator can intuitively create profile sketches, operate the automatic stop system, and program the machine. The various components work together seamlessly: from the 21.5? Full HD (16:9) multi-touchscreen and SSD to the 3.7 GHz i3 processor and B&R hardware components. Whether the operator programs at the machine or works from the office using the included offline software, they benefit from the well-structured menu navigation for sketching and dimensioning the bending profile. Furthermore, if you require remote support, we can access the machine via TeamViewer, allowing us to easily assist you with operation or troubleshooting.

Multi-nesting function: one of the innovative additional functions

In addition, there are various supplementary functions that support the calculation of the desired profiles: the copy function, the mirror function, and the innovative multi-nesting function. Multi-nesting allows for the automatic calculation of multiple pluggable profiles based on the plug-in direction, overlap depth, and the taper of the overall profile. This could be, for example, a drainage channel with a slope or simply an angled connecting plate. Only by plugging the individual sections together does the final profile “grow” together. This makes defining complex bending profiles particularly easy, and subsequently, their practical execution with the Jorns double bending machine is exceptionally precise. Such a pluggable profile can be much longer in overall length than the working area of ??the double bending machine. In fact, the profile can be extended to any desired length with additional sub-profiles.
