**ANSER SPH — Smart Printhead**

The ANSER SPH is a compact thermal inkjet printer built for manufacturers who need clean, reliable date and batch coding without the cost, mess and maintenance of traditional continuous inkjet.

It prints text, logos, shapes, counters, shift codes, date and time, and 1D and 2D barcodes including QR, DataMatrix, GS1 and Code 128, at up to 600 x 600 dpi. Print speed runs to 60 m/min at 300 dpi, or 300 m/min at lower resolution.

**Half inch to one inch, on the same printer**

The SPH prints at 12.7 mm as standard and converts to 25.4 mm simply by fitting the taller cartridge. No new printer, no controller change, no engineer call-out. If your coding requirement grows, the printer grows with it. Where you need more than one inch, printheads can be stacked to 4 inches of print height, and a single hub supports 32 or more printheads across a plant.

**Install it anywhere**

The SPH has a built-in photocell, so it works as a standalone unit mounted over a conveyor with nothing else required. It also mounts onto flow wrappers, VFFS and pouch machines, cartoners, labellers, tray sealers, case erectors, tapers and carton conveyors. At 320 g and 204 mm long, it fits in spaces where other printers simply won't go.

For automated lines, it supports Modbus TCP/IP, UDP and RTU 485 for direct communication with PLCs and upstream equipment.

**Simple for operators**

One-button control. Power on, select the message, print. Operators aren't navigating menus mid-shift, which cuts training time and the coding errors that come with complicated interfaces.

**Supplied ready to run**

Every SPH is supplied with an Android tablet and Wi-Fi dongle. The dongle connects the tablet straight to the printer, so there is no factory internet connection required, no IT involvement and no network access needed. Set up messages, change dates and codes, and monitor the printer from the tablet on the floor.

**Maintenance free**

Sealed cartridge technology. No pumps, no filters, no solvent, no make-up fluid, no annual service kits and no scheduled maintenance. When the cartridge is empty you fit a new one. The printhead is replaced with the ink, so print quality on the last code matches the first.
