Used Australian-made Autobaler MD-100A open-top recycling baler.
Unlike conventional front-loading vertical balers, the MD-100A uses Autobaler’s distinctive top-fed design. Cardboard or plastic can be loaded through the open top, avoiding the repeated door-opening and closing associated with many conventional balers.
This makes the machine particularly useful in busy warehouses, retail operations, manufacturing facilities and distribution centres where recyclable packaging is generated continuously throughout the working day.
The machine produces approximately:
Up to 100 kg cardboard bales
Up to 150 kg plastic or soft-plastic bales
Actual bale weight will depend on the type, density and preparation of the material being processed.
Key benefits:
Unique open-top loading system
Can be loaded progressively during operation
Reduces repetitive opening and closing of loading doors
Less need to flatten or extensively prepare cardboard before loading
Suitable for cardboard, paper, shrink-wrap and suitable soft plastics
Produces manageable bales for storage and recycling collection
Compact vertical footprint
Australian-designed and manufactured
Straightforward manual bale tying
Suitable for commercial and light-industrial applications
The open-top format can significantly reduce the labour involved in handling bulky cardboard. Staff can place material into the machine as it is generated rather than accumulating loose boxes or repeatedly operating a front loading door.
