Cat® Augers are used for drilling holes for footings, fencing, signs, trees, and shrubs in construction, agricultural, and landscaping applications. They are designed with the right combination of speed and torque for maximum productivity across a broad range of soil types. Augers are compatible with skid steer loaders, compact track loaders, compact wheel loaders, mini hydraulic excavators, and backhoe loaders.

MULTIPLE DRIVE SYSTEMS
Three different drive systems are available, each designed with the optimal balance of speed and torque for working in a wide range of soil conditions. The A11 and A23 feature a variable speed, bi-directional, gerotor-style hydraulic motor that generates optimal bit speed and output torque for light to moderate-duty work. The A41 features a variable speed, bi-directional, gerotor-style hydraulic motor mounted to a single reduction planetary gearbox for optimal bit speed and torque in moderate to heavy-duty applications. The A68 features a variable speed, bi-directional, gerotor-style hydraulic motor mounted to a double reduction planetary gearbox to provide optimal bit speed and output torque for moderate to heavy-duty, high-performance drilling requirements.

RUGGED MOUNTING BRACKET
The exclusive Cat® skid steer loader mounting bracket allows the auger to swing freely while drilling but cradles the auger drive to prevent unwanted movement during transport. Support legs below the cradle provide a stable platform for the auger when not mounted to a machine, while a serrated side step provides secure footing when entering and exiting the machine.

RUGGED BITS FOR EVERY APPLICATION
Auger bits are rugged and adaptable to a variety of projects. Standard bits, industrial bits, industrial rock bits, and tree bits are available to suit a wide range of applications and ground conditions. An optional bolt-on drill head can be added to convert a standard flight for more aggressive drilling applications.

EXTENSIONS AND ADAPTERS
Various extensions allow for deeper drilling, while adapters enable auger drives to use both hex and round shaft-style bits. A retention pin reduces the time required for auger flight changes.

ARTICULATED JOINT
The articulated joint ensures the auger hangs straight and remains independent of machine positioning, improving drilling accuracy and performance.

MECHANICAL SWING STOPS
Mechanical swing stops protect the auger from excessive swinging, helping to improve safety and reduce wear during operation and transport.

STANDARD TWO-YEAR WARRANTY
All augers come standard with a two-year warranty, providing peace of mind when purchasing a quality Cat® Auger attachment.
