Cat® Brushcutters are used for clearing brush and saplings from highway medians, utility easements, fence lines, pastures, and other overgrown areas.

HIGH STRENGTH BLADES AND BALANCED BLADE CARRIERS
High-strength blades easily cut through tough brush and saplings, while the up-swept blade design lifts material for additional mulching action. The balanced blade carrier reduces vibration, and its tapered design allows the cutter to ride up and over stumps and other surface obstacles.

LONG LIFE MOTOR AND GEAR
The robust motor and gearbox design provide years of reliable service. The gearbox features a sealed design with precision-machined and heat-treated gears, while a shear pin helps protect the system from damage caused by striking unseen debris.

MOTOR-PROTECTION GUARD
The motor-protection guard shields the motor and gearbox from debris during operation. The guard is hinge-mounted, allowing easy access to the motor and gearbox for maintenance and servicing.

GALVANIZED COIL CHAINS
Galvanized coil chains (7.9 mm [5/16 in] proof) provide debris guarding at both the front and rear of the brushcutter, helping to restrict flying debris and material.

HEAVY DUTY SKIDS
Heavy-duty skids allow the brushcutter to move easily over uneven terrain while maintaining the stability of both the work tool and the machine.
