Cat® Flail Mowers are designed for high-performance cutting of vegetation, saplings, and undergrowth in overgrown agricultural areas, retention ponds, and forested terrain. These hydraulic flail mowers reduce weeds, saplings, shrubs, and small trees into mulched material, making them ideal for environmental maintenance applications such as mowing along ditches, fence rows, and retention ponds, controlling overgrowth, and cleaning up high banks and slopes.

PISTON MOTOR
The piston motor is designed to improve the operational efficiency of the tool, with hydraulic flow matched to ideal machine conditions for optimum performance.

BALANCED DRUM
The mulching drum is weighted for maximum mulching performance and smooth operation. A staggered tooth design ensures that at least one tooth is always in contact with the material, providing optimal cutting performance.

CAT® XTC HYDRAULIC HOSES
Quick-disconnect hydraulic lines allow for easy attachment changes and tool swapping. A case drain line improves motor life and protects internal motor components from damage.

INTEGRATED REAR ROLLER
The integrated rear roller keeps the swinging teeth out of the dirt while rolling smoothly along the ground, preventing excessive wear and extending tooth life.

INTEGRATED STAND
The integrated stand simplifies attachment and removal while allowing the mower to sit flat for convenient storage.

FRONT CHAIN GUARD
The front chain guard helps limit material thrown from the tool and provides additional protection for the swinging teeth and drum.

BOLT-ON REPLACEABLE SKID SHOES
Bolt-on replaceable skid shoes are reinforced for durability and long service life while remaining easy to replace when required.

OMM CONTAINER
Mounted on the tool and sealed from the elements, the OMM (Operation and Maintenance Manual) container stores the manual in a protective case on the attachment for convenient access.
