Cat® B Hammers are suitable for use in a wide range of construction and general demolition applications, including breaking concrete sidewalks and driveways, pavement, roads, masonry, site preparation and landscaping, as well as breaking frozen ground for utility repairs. Each model of B Hammer is available in either silenced or non-silenced configurations, with the silenced version identified by an "S" suffix.

GAS FIRED DESIGN
The gas fired design delivers consistently high production over time, making the breaker highly reliable in applications such as concrete, asphalt, rock, and light trenching.

SLIP FIT BUSHINGS
Slip fit bushings are field replaceable and easy to maintain due to their one-locking-pin design, extending wear life while reducing owning and operating costs.

Each hammer includes two tools: a cone tool and a crosscut/transverse chisel. A toolbox is also supplied containing standard service items to help maintain the hammer, including a nitrogen charge gauge, hammer paste tube, tool pin, retention spring pins, operation and maintenance manual, and other key service items.
