Cat® Tilt Rotate Systems (TRS) are the first in the industry to offer complete machine integration. Three TRS models are designed to fit Next Generation Mini Hydraulic Excavators, helping operators complete jobs faster while maintaining the quality expected from Cat® equipment. The TRS is productive, easy to use, and provides a versatile solution for a wide range of applications. By providing 360 degrees of continuous rotation and 40 degrees of tilt in both directions, the Cat TRS significantly reduces the need to reposition the machine, saving time, fuel, and machine wear. The TRS can be used with simple work tools such as buckets, as well as hydromechanical tools such as grapples.

360 DEGREE ROTATION / 40 DEGREE ANGLING
The TRS provides optimal control of work tools, delivering greater working flexibility through 360 degrees of continuous rotation and 40 degrees of tilt to the left and right. All tiltrotators include both rotation and tilting sensors.

INTEGRATED CENTRAL LUBRICATION SYSTEM
A single grease entry point allows the entire unit to be lubricated quickly and easily, simplifying maintenance. The exact location varies by model.

VISUAL VERIFICATION INDICATOR
The visual verification indicator allows the operator to confirm from the cab that the coupler has successfully locked the attachment in place.

TRS POSITIONING SYSTEM
Compatible with either the standard or advanced machine display, the TRS Positioning System utilizes the existing machine display to view position information and adjust settings. This eliminates the need for additional screens that can clutter the excavator cab.

HEAVY DUTY WORM GEAR
The heavy-duty worm gearbox delivers high rotation torque and self-locking capability, allowing digging in all directions with full power. The design enables the gearbox to accept maximum machine forces while distributing loads throughout the TRS structure.

LOCKING CONTROL SYSTEM (LCS)
The Locking Control System uses a position sensor in the coupler cylinder to determine whether the tool is properly locked to the coupler. This information is displayed on the machine monitor, and an audible alarm alerts the operator if the tool is not correctly secured.

OIL FILLED GEARBOX
The oil-filled gearbox is a maintenance-free solution that distributes heat more effectively and provides superior lubrication compared to grease-filled systems.

LED LIGHT
An integrated LED light improves visibility when engaging and disengaging tools beneath the TRS8. This feature is available on TRS8 models equipped with S-Type couplers.

DOUBLE ACTING CYLINDERS WITH LOAD HOLD VALVE
Load hold valves maintain hydraulic pressure within the tilt cylinders, preventing unwanted movement and improving control during operation.

BUCKET SHAKE
The Bucket Shake function enables operators to quickly and evenly spread material or release material that has become stuck in the bucket.

AUTO RETURN FUNCTION
The Auto Return Function automatically returns the tiltrotator to a rotation and tilt position previously set by the operator, improving efficiency and repeatability.

AUXILIARY PORT OPTIONS
Auxiliary hydraulic ports support a variety of tiltrotator accessories. Aux 1 is available on the TRS4, while Aux 1 and Aux 2 are available on the TRS6 and TRS8, enabling the use of attachments such as grapples and other hydraulic tools.

OPTIONAL INTEGRATED GRAPPLE
The optional integrated grapple is ideal for picking and placing pipes, poles, debris, and other materials. Its bypass-style tongs provide a secure grip on both large and small objects. This option is only compatible with the S-Type lower interface.

OPTIONAL GRADE CONTROL
Optional 2D and 3D Grade Control systems are available on all TRS models, helping operators achieve final grade faster while reducing the need for personnel on the ground to check grade.
