Heavy-duty Charles & Hunting mechanical variable-speed drive fitted with an S.E.C. Machines Alpak three-phase induction motor.

This older-style industrial drive uses a mechanically adjustable transmission to vary output speed while the motor operates near its normal rated speed. It is suitable for legacy conveyors, mixers, process machinery and other applications requiring mechanically adjustable output speed.
