Recovering copper from scrap cable becomes more practical when the metal and insulation can be separated into usable material streams. The ENERPAT WG-400S Copper Recycling Separator combines cable granulation and separation to process scrap copper wire and produce separate copper and plastic outputs.
The system is suitable for electrical wire, power cable, communication cable, automotive wiring and similar copper-containing cables. Cable with a diameter of up to 20 mm can be processed, with an approximate throughput of 150–300 kg/h.
Rather than treating processed cable as mixed waste, the WG-400S prepares the recovered copper for further recycling while the separated plastic can be collected independently. This makes the machine suitable for scrap yards, cable recycling businesses and workshops handling regular volumes of copper-bearing wire.
