The KANG MB-72 is a professional-grade straight sheet metal brake specifically for consistent, high-quality bends in lighter-gauge materials. With a full 72 inch (1830 mm) bending length, it handles full 1800 × 1200 mm or 1800 × 900 mm Australian standard sheets perfectly, ideal for race car panels, custom fabrication, automotive restoration, aluminium boat building, signage, trailer manufacturing, HVAC ducting, and general sheet metal workshops.
Perfect for HVAC Ductwork. The 1830mm length allows it to handle standard 1220 mm sheet metal widths diagonally. This makes it the perfect machine for "cross-braking"
Industrial Durability. This is a heavy steel floor model. It features bronze bushings at pivot points rather than plastic or direct metal-on-metal wear points. This means it can withstand daily commercial use for decades
Precision Bending. It comes with a bolt-on apron angle. This attachment stiffens the bending leaf, preventing it from bowing in the middle when bending efficiently at full capacity. This ensures the bend is straight from end to end, not curved
Versatility for Box & Pan Depth. While it is a straight brake (not a box and pan brake with removable fingers), it offers a 2-inch (50mm) clearance, allowing for the fabrication of standard pans and boxes with shallow sides (up to 3 sides)
