Sample preparation lathe - has a shell-end milling cutter in the chuck and the top slide has been replaced by a three-jaw chuck. The intention of this setup is to face off samples in preparation for metallurgic examination/chemical composition testing. The original top slide has been lost so it'd be hard to return it to original condition, but perfect for facing off operations or sample preparations. The lathe has a fully functional DRO.
