The SMTCL HTM40100h is a high-performance horizontal turn-milling centre designed for complex components requiring turning, milling, drilling, boring and angular machining in a single setup.
Unlike a conventional CNC turning centre fitted with driven tools, the HTM40100h incorporates a dedicated high-speed milling spindle, B-axis milling head, C-axis turning spindle and automatic tool magazine.
This allows complex rotational and prismatic features to be machined without repeatedly transferring the workpiece between separate turning and machining centres.
