The KGK CCS3100-D CIJ Ink Jet Printer is the latest in technology in inkjet coding equipment available. The D model is for Dye based inks normally used in Black, Red, Green and Fluorescent printing. Manufactured by KGK, who are based in Wakayama Japan, they are the original and oldest manufacturer of inkjet technology. The KGK is the only CIJ printer to feature the Nozzle Cap design print head.

KGK Inkjet Printers are widely used all over the world and renowned to be of the highest quality and reliability. CIJ or Continuous Inkjet means that the printer is constantly running, circulating ink through its system to always be in a state ready to start printing.

Normally when a CIJ is running it is constantly evaporating solvent as it circulates, but the KGK is the only printer on the market to automatically close it’s own circuit and seal it’s nozzle while it’s running to save solvent and running costs, as well as maintains the correct ink viscosity. It features a 10.4" detachable colour LCD screen which can be mounted away from the machine. When connected via an ethernet cable to other machines, one CCS3100 can run and adjust up to 16 other units simultaneously.

The CCS3100 is IP65 rated for cleaning and safety, it can save up to 999 messages, it can print up to 6 lines of data, and print bar codes and QR codes too. It manages multiple languages, counts, and handles various connections from USB, UPS, Lan, Ethernet, and run an encoder for speed matching targets.

Being a solvent based printer it can print onto many different surfaces and the etching ink will stick even to glass, metal and plastic surfaces. It handles various types of inks in different colours for different applications including water based inks for use with eggs and fresh produce, as well as ethanol, MEK and MIPK for Fluorescent printing.
