This is an honest, "as-is" sale of a premium industrial asset. This Panhans 690 was a highly reliable, accurate workhorse in a functioning workshop before being decommissioned and placed into a clean, dry shipping container 10 years ago.The container was situated on high, well-drained ground and remained completely weather-tight and sealed. The machine has escaped the typical dampness, rust-promoting condensation, or vermin damage associated with long-term storage. Because it has been sitting, it is priced heavily down to allow the new owner room to perform a standard recommissioning service (cleaning, checking belts, re-greasing guides).
Mechanical simplicity - this is the highly dependable manual model featuring analog controls and mechanical handwheels. Machine is not seized - both the main blade spindle and the scoring spindle spin smoothly by hand with no grinding. The massive 3.2m aluminium double-roller carriage still glides freely through its travel.
No Power On-Site: The machine is located on a property without the necessary 3-phase infrastructure. It cannot be turned on, run, or tested under power. Expect a decade's worth of surface dust, aged lubricants, and minor surface oxidation on the raw cast iron tables. A weekend with some steel wool, WD-40, and fresh grease will have the metalwork looking excellent.

There is clear, wide-open vehicle access right up to the container doors. You will need to bring a Hiab/crane truck, a heavy-duty machinery trailer with a winch, or machine skates, as there is no forklift on-site to assist with lifting.
