Parkanson PK610DMS Metal Cutting Bandsaw

The Parkanson PK610DMS metal cutting bandsaw is a twin column machine ideal for larger steel fabricators with a capacity of 610 x 400mm. All Parkanson Bandsaws are designed to cut to their full capacity. The PK610DMS is a Semi Automatic Machine with a full stroke hydraulic vice and double mitre 45 degrees in one direction and 60 degrees in the other. In addition the laser fitted to the machine assists in the lining up of the material to be cut.
Once you get to the larger capacity bandsaws (eg. over 600mm width capacity) most quality manufacturers of bandsaws become Twin Column so you have more control over the bow as it travels through the material, increasing the blade life and making blade selection easier.

Features:
-Cut any angle from 90deg to 30deg left and 90deg to 45deg right. The angle is set manually with a digital readout to 0.10 degree accuracy.

-The bow swivels around the intersection point of the saw blade and the fixed vice jaw.

-Inclination of the saw bow (4deg) to reduce the initial blade impact when cutting large sections.

-The column has linear guide ways for bow stability, longer blade life and accurate cutting.

-The bow returns to the starting position at the end of each cut.
