The rope guide keeps your wire rope tracking cleanly in the drum grooves as it winds on and off. When a rope guide wears or cracks, the rope can jump grooves, cross-wind or bunch on the drum. That damages the rope and drum, and it can make the hoist unsafe to operate. Replacing a worn guide early costs far less than a new rope or drum.

These are genuine OEM rope guides, supplied direct from the hoist manufacturer. They are moulded from high-grade engineering polymer, which gives low friction against the rope, good wear resistance and dimensional stability in service. Because they are made to the original specification, the internal profile matches your drum grooving exactly, so fit and performance are the same as when the hoist left the factory.

The split-ring design fits around the drum without removing the rope.
