X-Ray Inspection System for Packaged Products — FXR-3017 / FXR-4017 / FXR-6035
Part of the APS FOODMAN range | Supplied and supported in Australia by Autopac Systems
Overview:
Designed for general-purpose inline inspection, the FOODMAN X-Ray Inspection System for Packaged Products checks finished, packaged goods for foreign contaminants and quality defects as they move through your production line. It is suited to a broad range of packaging formats, including sachets, bags, boxes, trays, and flow-wrapped product, making it one of the most versatile system families in the FOODMAN range.
The system penetrates packaging to examine the product itself, identifying dense and semi-dense contaminants that would otherwise go undetected by visual inspection or metal detection alone.
The family spans three aperture sizes — the compact FXR-3017 for sachets and small packs, the mid-size FXR-4017 for general packaged goods, and the large-format FXR-6035 for bigger packs and cartons — so you can match tunnel size to your product rather than over- or under-specifying.
Typical Applications:
• Small sachets, single-serve packs, and multi-lane small-pack lines (FXR-3017)
• Cheese, biscuits, and snack foods
• Infant food and seasonings
• Meatballs, fish balls, and processed meat products
• Bagged coffee and solid drink mixes
• General packaged food, pharmaceutical, and light-industrial goods
What It Detects
• Ferrous, non-ferrous, and stainless-steel metal
• Bone fragments
• Glass and ceramic
• Stone and sand
• Rigid plastics and desiccant sachets
