X-Ray Inspection System for Bulk Products — FXR-S4017
Part of the FOODMAN range | Supplied and supported in Australia by Autopac Systems
Overview
The FOODMAN X-Ray Inspection System for Bulk Products is purpose-built for loose, unpackaged goods flowing continuously along a conveyor. Rather than inspecting individual packs, it screens a moving stream of product in real time, automatically rejecting contaminated material through a bank of high-speed air-blast nozzles or flipper mechanisms.
This makes it ideal for raw ingredient intake, upstream processing, and any point in the line where product is handled loose before final packaging.
Typical Applications
• Nuts, coffee beans, and oatmeal
• Flour, wheat, and rice
• Confectionery, capsules, tablets, and granules
• Rubber pellets and similar bulk industrial materials
What It Detects
• Metal contaminants
• Glass and ceramic
• Stone
• Hard plastics and rubber

Foodman's self-developed detection algorithms maintain accuracy even as bulk product density and flow vary.
Why Choose This System:
Where a packaged-product system checks finished packs, the FXR-S4017 protects your process upstream — catching contamination in raw or intermediate materials before it ever reaches packaging, reducing downstream risk and waste.
