Established by brothers John L. Grove and Dwight L. Grove and their friend Wayne A. Nicarry in 1947, Grove is one of the four brands under the Manitowoc Cranes company. They started out manufacturing yard-type cranes for personal use in a small, rented garage in Pennsylvania, until they've decided to expand their business and begin building cranes for commercial purposes. Currently, they offer more than 40 models that have lifting capacities ranging from 8.5 to 550 USt. To add, Grove is the entity that introduced the first trapezoidal boom and the first slewing rough terrain crane in the world.
