It was in 1857 when Ferdinand Kleemann decided to open his own file cutting shop in Germany which also manufactured and distributed harvesting machines and other agricultural implements. What soon followed was their production of circular saws, eccentrics and spindle presses, and their development in the hard rock crushing department with their processing plants for the natural rock and stone industry. Today, Kleemann is a part of the Wirtgen group of companies which allows for their combined knowledge, expertise, and resources in the production of jaw crushers, impact crushers, screen plants, and other equipment.
