Shini manufactures the SIC-A-R2 series to solve a specific problem in plastics processing. Molds get hot. If they stay hot, cycle times stretch and parts warp. This air-cooled water chiller pulls that heat away. It is also highly effective for cooling other plant and machinery to maintain normal operating temperatures.
The unit provides chilled water between 7°C and 25°C (44.6°F to 77°F). It holds that temperature with a maximum precision of plus or minus 1°C (1.8°F). This precision relies on a hot-gas bypass valve. The valve lets the compressor run continuously while adjusting the cooling output to match the exact heat load. This prevents the constant starting and stopping that wears out electrical components and causes temperature spikes.
The system uses R410A refrigerant. This is a CFC-free, ozone-friendly compound that replaces older chemicals. The water tank is stainless steel and fully insulated to prevent condensation and heat gain. Cooling happens through a full-size air-cooled fin condenser. You do not need a cooling tower or a connection to a municipal water supply for the condenser side.
Control and safety features include:
• High-precision temperature controller managing the entire loop
• Refrigerant circuit monitored by high and low pressure switches for stable operation
• Overload protection guarding both the compressor and the pump
• Anti-freeze thermostat preventing water from turning to ice inside the tank
• RS485 communication interface for centralized monitoring on your plant floor
We use quality compressors from major suppliers in this lineup to ensure long service life.
